Glassblowing Experiences
These experiences are quick introductions to the fundamentals of glass making. They are exciting, safe, and great for sharing with loved ones, coworkers, and friends. Receive a 10% discount for groups of 10 people or more. The pieces you create will be ready for pick-up two days after your event or can be shipped to you.
***Every student who comes to participate in glass making classes is required to wear eye protection and closed toed shoes. No exceptions will be made!***
BLOW YOUR OWN... EVENTS
Our Blow Your Own… events are quick (15-30 minute) introductions to furnace glassblowing that we offer September-May. You choose the color and style of your piece then assist our instructor by blowing air into the blow pipe and shaping the glass. Students can take as active or passive a role based on their comfort level. BYOs are good for ages 5 and up and are perfect for individuals, families, team building activities, work parties, or tour groups of up to 30 people. Receive a 10% discount for groups of 10 people or more when you pay as a group. Your piece will be ready for pick-up 2 days after your appointment or can be shipped
What to expect: Each BYO will be unique however we do work within certain parameters to keep cost down. BYOOrnaments are 4" in diameter; BYOBowls are 5-6" in height and 6-7" in diameter; BYOVases are 4-5" in diameter and 9" tall. If you would like anything outside of our specified parameters, please expect to pay $15-$50 extra.

SYOPs
Our Slump Your Own Plate events are quick (1 hour) introductions to glass fusing that we offer year-round. You will learn to cut sheet glass and then, on a clear glass base, create a 2-D composition that we will fuse in a kiln then slump into the mold of your choice (we have a variety of bowl, plate, and platter molds). SYOPs are good for ages 5 and up and are perfect for individuals, families, team building activities, work parties, or tour groups of up to 20 people. Receive a 10% discount for groups of 10 people or more when you pay as a group. Your piece will be ready for pick-up 4-7 days after your appointment or can be shipped at your cost. Call to schedule (must have at least 2 people to schedule)!
What to expect: Each SYOP will be unique however we do work within certain parameters to keep cost down. Maximum SYOP size is 8"x8" (square) or 6"x13" (rectangle). If you would like to create something outside of normal SYOP parameters, please expect to pay $15-$40 extra.
Slump Your Own Plate $65 (Make a second piece for only $35!)*

Paperweight Experience (PWE) for Two 
$140/person. Call to schedule!
Bring your spouse, sibling or best buddy in for a Paperweight Experience, a great introductory experience for first timers! This 3-hour class will go over the fundamentals of solid work within furnace glassblowing. Under the guidance of an instructor, you will each create 2-4 paperweights using a limited color palette (to achieve the best results). Your paperweights will be coldworked and ready for pick-up 3 days after your experience.
Glassblowing Experience (GBE) for Two
$225/person. Call to schedule!
If you've ever thought to yourself: "I wonder what it's like to blow glass", this experience is for you! GBE is a 6.5 hour event (includes a half hour lunch break) during which you will create several paperweights and then move on to tumblers and small vases. GBE offers a thorough introduction to the basic steps, tools, and techniques of furnace glassblowing. Schedule one with a friend or loved one to see if glassblowing sparks your creative fire!!
