Glassblowing Experiences
These experiences are quick introductions to the fundamentals of furnace glassblowing. They are exciting, safe, and great for sharing with loved ones, coworkers, and friends. Receive a 10% discount for groups of 10 people or more. The pieces you create will be ready for pick-up two days after your event or can be shipped to you.
BLOW YOUR OWN... EVENTS
BYOBs are quick (15-30 minute) events that can be scheduled any time of year between September and May. You choose the color and style of your holiday ornament, bowl, vase, or pumpkin. Then, you will assist one of our illustrious instructors in the glassblowing process, blowing air into your piece and shaping the glass. These events are perfect for individuals, pairs, or for groups of up to 25 people. Around holiday time, we set aside full days for individuals and pairs to come in and participate in BYOBs. Give a BYOB as a gift, or do it yourself to create your own glass art gifts! We do require a credit card number upon scheduling a BYOB. We charge a $20 fee upon failure to attend an appointment. Any cancellations 3 days before an appointment will not be subject to this charge.

Slump Your Own Plate!! (year-round)

You choose the colors, shape, and design of your bowl/plate. Then, work with our instructors to create a unique fused object. Schedule a SYOB between our regularly scheduled classes or anytime with groups of 6 or more. Receive a 10% discount for your group of 10-20. Students usually make 2 pieces during the hour-long experience.
Paperweight Experience for Two
$130/person
3 hours- PWE can be scheduled any day we have openings between our regular class scheduling. This is an introduction to the art of furnace glassblowing. Under the guidance of an instructor, you will turn molten glass into 3-5 paperweights of your design.
Glass Blowing Experience for Two
$220/person
GBE can be scheduled any day we have openings between our regular class scheduling. This is a 6.5 hour experience and we suggest 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the time line. GBE offers a thorough introduction to the basic steps, tools, and techniques of off-hand furnace glassblowing. You will be creating paperweights, bowls and tumblers.
