Studio Rentals
As part of our educational mission, SGAA's facilities including the Hot Shop, Flame Shop and Warm Shop are available for studio rental to glass artists and students that meet our qualifications. Rental sessions are a great time to finish projects or work on new ideas. An SGAA staff person will be on site and available during all rental sessions. Rental time is not intended for production or commercial use and can only be scheduled between regularly scheduled classes. Please see our Refund Policy.

Hot Shop
Rental |
Small Glory Hole:
Members: $50/ hour, Non-members: $65/hour
Large Glory Hole:
Members: $65/ hour, Non-members: $80/hour
Minimum: 4 hours
Includes cullet, 30 minutes cold shop. Renter provides their own color. |
Flame Shop
Rental |
Members: $10/ hour
Non-members: $20/hour
Minimum: 3 hours
Renter provides their own glass |
Cold Shop/Sandblaster |
Rental: Members: $15/ hour
Non-members: $25 |
Warm Shop

Kilns: $35 for Paragon, $50 for Evenheat OR $10/piece

- ONE HOUR RENTAL DEPOSIT REQUIRED AT TIME OF REGISTRATION
- Full payment is due at the time of services; no exceptions. Please sign safety release and submit with payment. Rental time must be reserved in advance; no walk-ins.
- Failure to show: Session will be canceled after 30 minutes; 1 hour deposit charged to credit card.
- Friends and guests are not allowed to assist unless approval has been authorized by SGAA staff.
- Renters will be charged for the replacement of any equipment damaged. Costs will be paid in full before any further studio use is authorized.
- A $25.00 clean-up fee will be charged to renters if the studio is not left the way it was found.
