Registration Information and Policies

Students are accepted on a first-come, first served basis with full payment required for confirmation of enrollment. Many instructors and students travel to Tucson for Classes and it is strongly encouraged that you register ninety (90) days in advance to avoid cancellations. SGAA does not issue confirmation or reminder notices. Please note class start dates. Students will receive program information and syllabus on first date of class.

Refund Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing. Email and fax notifications are acceptable. A $25 administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations.

  • 100% refund ten days prior to class start date
  • 50% refund nine days prior to class start date
  • Full tuition will be forfeited after class start date

Please note: We cannot be held responsible for providing make-ups or issuing refunds, credits or transfers for sessions missed as a result of illnesses, emergencies or other events beyond our control.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are available for full payment or for a specific monetary amount that can be applied by the receiver for any class they prefer. Certificates are transferable, but non-refundable, and expire with 15 months of purchase date. Call our office for more information. 520-884-7814.

Class Cancellations-Schedule Changes

The Sonoran Glass Art Academy reserves the right to cancel a class on the basis of insufficient enrollment or due to circumstances beyond its control. Full refunds will be made within 30 days for Classes canceled by the Academy.

The Sonoran Glass Art Academy reserves the right to change its calendar, withdraw or modify a course or substitute instructors at any time. It also reserves the right to require the withdrawal of any student whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the school environment, without refund of tuition.

Student Safety Information

Glass art Classes involve working in and around a very high temperature environment with specialized equipment. One must be focused and committed to following all safety instruction and guidance by the instructors and staff. If you have a medical condition or are taking medication that may affect your physical performance, please consult with your physician regarding possible risks to your health. A full refund will be given, upon receipt of a doctor's notice, if it is determined you should not participate in Classes once you have enrolled.
